Otgontsetseg Sukhbaatar was born in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. She received her B.S. degree from the National University of Mongolia, M.S. degree in electrical engineering and computer science from Seoul National University (South Korea) and her Ph.D. degree in computer science and electrical engineering from Kumamoto University (Japan). She is currently the Head of the Center for Faculty Development and Digital Learning, National University of Mongolia. Her field of study includes learning analytics, machine learning in e-learning and educational data analysis.
